Stand up paddle
Stand Up Paddle is designed for all ages and abilities. Many people find this sport easier than surfing which makes it so popular. It is a great full body workout, significantly improving balance, coordination, strength and endurance. It is a perfect way to see the beautiful coastlines of the Central Pacific from the open waters. The area offers several beaches which are ideal for Stand Up Paddling.
Spanish
The classes at the Spanish school in Jaco, Costa Rica are intended to make students proficient and comfortable speaking and understanding the Spanish language. All of the Spanish classes are taught by native Spanish speaking teachers and small class sizes (generally 1 – 6 students per teacher) give all students a chance to participate.
Surfing
The Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica is not only known as one of the best surf spots in the country, it’s also the easiest and quickest beach in the country to reach from the international airport in San Jose. Long stretches of coastline with beach breaks and some point breaks make the Central Pacific a great place for beginner surfers to learn or for more advanced surfers to catch waves in some of the most legendary beaches around. Regardless of your ability, the warm waters and mountainous coasts provide the perfect backdrop for surfing in Costa Rica.
Photography
Visit exciting locations you wouldn’t normally see to photograph Costa Rica’s stunning environments on camera. Digital Photography classes give you the chance to learn in depth about your camera, allow you to capture unique shots, as well as become comfortable editing in the digital darkroom.
Yoga
The Yoga classes in Jaco, Costa Rica are designed to reach the needs of all students from beginner to advanced. Our certified yoga instructors offer a wide variety of approaches including Iyengar based Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Anusara based classes. Classes run Monday through Friday for one and a half hours per day. The natural settings where we practice bring the mind, body, and soul together as one to revitalize and rejuvenate you.
